Get Ready for the Job Fair at ALA Annual Conference in June

If your library has vacant positions that you plan to fill this year, consider meeting with job seekers in the ALA JobLIST Placement & Career Development Center at the upcoming American Library Association’s Annual Conference in San Diego (June 27 – July 2, 2024).

Human Resource professionals, library directors, and hiring managers can make real connections with exceptional candidates at every level. The Center offers private interview areas to ensure confidentiality. Reserve a recruitment booth now. 

If you’re not in a position to interview while at the Annual Conference, consider participating in the Center’s Open House/Job Fair on Sunday, June 30, 2024, 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Employers are given the opportunity to discuss what it is like to work in your library/organization and community with conference attendees. There is no cost to participate but registration is required for employers. This robust event has grown in popularity and is the highlight event in the Center. Employers who want to participate must complete and submit the participation form. Space is limited. Tables are assigned based on when forms are received.
