Join Us at the Midwinter Open House/Job Fair in Seattle
During the American Library Association’s (ALA) Midwinter Meeting in Seattle, Washington (Jan. 25 – 29, 2019) the ALA JobLIST Placement & Career Development Center will host an Open House/Job Fair. Job seekers can attend and talk to any employer. Hiring managers and human resource professionals are given the opportunity to discuss what it’s like to work in your library/organization and community with conference attendees. There is no cost to participate.
The Open House/Job Fair will be held on Sunday, January 27, 2019, 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. in the Washington State Convention Center. This robust event has grown in popularity and is the highlight event of the Center. Employers who want to participate should complete and submit the participation form no later than Friday, January 4, 2019. No registration required for job seekers.
We’re expecting a fantastic turn out for the ALA 2019 Midwinter Meeting in Seattle. Employers should take advantage of this opportunity by recruiting in the ALA JobLIST Placement & Career Development Center. Tables are assigned on a first come, first served basis.
