is a Star because Wenona did a superb job as Interim Director for seven months in FY2009, at the same time she was doing her own job as Head of Circ, including the custom design of great Circ staff training materials. Laurel’s one-woman ILL Dept, Wenona was asked to increase the library’s ability to fill patron requests. Incoming ILLs have tripled over the past 9 months and the figure is going up. Her efficiency would be one of her top star qualities, but that comes after her smile! Thanks to Wendy for this nomination.
