Marcia from a special library in Eielson AFB, AK,
is a Star because Marcia works tirelessly to expand and improve the services to Airmen and their families stationed at our base. As one of only 4 local libraries for approximately 100 miles in any direction, our library maintains leisure, continuing education, language software memberships, and family-oriented programs that would otherwise be difficult to find or incredibly expensive. She pays attention to what her users need and has made heavily needed changes that her predecessors either considered unnecessary or unorthodox. All and all the Base is fortunate to have her. is a Star because Jon is the master of the circulation desk. As a library assistant at our joint library, Jon works with students from 7th through the 12th grade.
