is a Star because Trisha is a hard worker and will take all the time it takes to help a child find that perfect book, so they will enjoy reading and become lifelong readers.  She actually spend her off time reading children’s books so she knows what they are about and can not only recommend them to the children but tell them a little about it, all the while keeping the childs reading level in mind. She is one of the most knowledgeable and caring children’s librarians around.  But please do not try and steel her for your library. Thanks to Melinda for this nomination.
