is a Star because Margaret makes everything she does appear effortless; scheduling alone is amazing as she accommodates numerous personalities and priorities to provide the reference desk with excellent coverage. Nothing is too small or insignificant for her as she troubleshoots and problem solves and in general creates an atmosphere conducive to conducting successful reference interviews and serving the public. In addition, she is supportive of her staff listening intently and making helpful suggestions,and she is quick recognize and congratulate her staff’s genuine efforts and achievements. Because of this gifted supervisor, it is nothing less than pure pleasure going to work each day. Thanks to Melanie for this nomination.

is a Star because she not only handles patron interactions with professionlism and a positive attitude, she finds solutions to problems.  Geri handles many jobs (read great multi tasker!) at the library, including the inputting of material orders and various technology issues.  She also works well with her colleagues and tries to help everyone.
