ACRL Women's Studies Section (WSS)

Mission
The Women's Studies Section (WSS) of the Association of Collection and Research Libraries was formed to discuss, promote, and support women's studies collections and services in academic and research libraries. Areas of interest include: promoting library and information services to women; electronic access to materials; cooperative collection development; working with publishers of women's studies materials; development of core lists of women's studies resources; communication of research findings and technological applications.

Feminist Task Force (FTF)

Mission
Part of the American Library Association's Social Responsibilities Round Table. Provides a forum for the discussion of the responsibilities of libraries in relation to the important problems of social change wich face institutions and librarians. Publishes the Women in Libraries newsletter.
